While I was teaching in a Lutheran school in northern Illinois a call was extended to me from St. Paul Congregation to teach in its school. God had plans for me to teach His children in Farmington. While I have been teaching here I have been able to use many talents; teaching preschool-8th grade, school music and choir, directing plays and musicals, coaching volleyball and academic team, being faculty rep for STUCO as well as organizing talent shows, area spelling bees, scholar and art fairs, trivia nights, and fundraising dinners. Aside from helping students learn about God and to live as his own dear children, I enjoy challenging and stretching them to use their own God-given talents to the best of their abilities. St. Paul graduates consistently have firm spiritual and academic foundations. My granddaughters are fourth generation students at St. Paul. It is my prayer that they will also reap the benefits of an excellent Lutheran education.
