We are eighth graders from Farmington, Missouri. Methamphetamine, also known as meth, is a big problem in Missouri, as well as in other states. Missouri is one of the top methamphetamine producing states in the nation. This fact has inspired us to make this website. Meth is a very dangerous and addictive drug. On this website you will learn more about the history of meth, its dangers, where people make it, and what to do if you come across a meth lab. To learn about our project tasks, visit the Narrative page. The Character and Poster Contest pages share two incentives we provided to encourage students to learn more about methamphetamine. You can learn all about meth by watching our PowerPoint shows and test your knowledge with our quizzes. The Interviews page provides information from law enforcement, and Representative Tilley examines how our new meth laws are working to fight the meth epidemic in Missouri. |
