What would you say to an aspiring musician?
Play until you can’t feel your arms every day, because there is always someone willing to work harder than you are.

When did you decide you wanted to be involved with music?
When I was about 5 or 6, I heard the music on the radio my mom and dad liked, and from there on I was hooked.

How did you get involved in the music industry?
Hard work (a lot), and knowing the right people.

Would you consider playing drums a hobby or an occupation?
Both, I play drums at work, or out to make money, making it my occupation, but also I play and jam with guys for fun, also making it my hobby.

Does being a musician occupy most of you time?
Yes, even after a long day at work, which is at a music makers store, I still play at home, I find myself going to concerts, and watching it on TV at home.

Do you enjoy teaching lessons?
Yes.

Who taught you how to play? Or did you teach yourself?
I mainly taught myself, I had band teachers at school, but most of it was on my won (with the help of a radio).

Did you ever think you were going to end up in the music industry?
I didn’t know, it was always something I hoped for, but I didn’t know if I would make it here.

Are you in a band? If so what is the name and how long have you been in it?
Yes, a few good friends and I are working on something I think is awesome, and hopefully it will be heard in the future.

Do your plans for the future involve music?
Yes, I’ll always play, no matter what.

Do you enjoy being in the music industry?
Yes very much, how many people do you know get to be around music all day everyday, its great.

How many years have you teaching music?
7 years.

How many years have you yourself been playing the drums?

15 great years!

Who are your influences?

I would say on drummers my main influences would probably be Eric Singer, John Bon, and Buddy Rich. As far as bands…Kiss and Lead Zeplen's up their Pioson's also a great band, basically anybody, any early rock guys are pretty well the founding fathers for modern drumming is today. John Bon was the biggest guy back then.

When did you decide you wanted to be a musician?

I grew up in music. My parents always played music around the house it was always there. It was always something that interested me. Even as a little kid singing every song I knew was something I loved to do.

Are you in a band?

Yeah, me and a few other guys are working on some original stuff, we're not out yet.

Do your future plans involve any kinds of music?

Yeah, its what I do I work at a music store, I play music, its something that lasts forever its not something that you just have and use a certain period of your life and you get past it. It’s something that’s with you forever as long as you pick up a pair of drum sticks you can play.
