On January 31, we held a Guitar Hero III Showdown to raise money for our project. It was hard but fun, and took a lot of work. Many kids and adults, from ages 8 to 45, entered and competed. There were four age groups: 8-10, 11-13, 14-16, and 17+. There were about 115 people that entered, but only four winners. The winners were Conner Bone at age 10, Levi Clifford at age 13, Matt Lubbers at age 14, and finally Trisha Williams at age 17. At the showdown we sold pizza and soda for those hungry competitors.

 For advertising we had students advertise it on one of the local radio stations (the audio to the left, here). Also, there were many posters and flyers. There was an advertisement in the newspaper that told about it, too.
