MOODLE USER POLICIES

These rules apply to all users of the Moodle courses. They are designed to encourage online Christian behavior and Internet etiquette. Infractions of these rules, depending on the severity, will result in disciplinary action which may include: marks, detention, and removal from Moodle altogether. The rule infractions are listed in sequence from minor to major in this list:

• use of nonstandard English practices: lack of punctuation, capitalization (also, all caps are a no-no), and poor grammar.
• Students are limited to one emoticon per message. Some emoticons are considered inappropriate for St. Paul.
• blocking a classmate from the contact list
• harassment of a classmate; repeatedly sending messages
• sharing logins and passwords
• inappropriate language or graphics
• inappropriate subjects of discussion

REMEMBER THAT THE SITE ADMINISTRATOR (Mrs. Johnson) CAN READ ALL MESSAGES, BLOGS, CHATS, ETC…

Messages and any texting cannot be removed or deleted from the site log. You may delete them, but the administrator can retrieve them. The IP address of the computer which was used at login is also listed. It can be proven by the IP address where the user was located at the time of login.

It is important to remember that all activities on Moodle CAN and WILL BE monitored. Consider carefully what you say and how you say it before you post or send it.
