This course will use Cord Communication's Algebra 1 Mathematics in Context and Hourghton Mifflin's Algebra Structure and Method, Book 1. This course meets every day, 1:15-11:55.


This course will focus on writing and grammar, using Prentice Hall's Writing and Grammar,Silver Level. There will be journal writings online. This class meets M-F, 2-2:55.


This course will cover 15 vocabulary units using Sadlier Oxford's Vocabulary Workshop, Level B. This class meets M, 2:00-2:55, during language. Tests are taken online Th or F during computer lab.

This course will review the elements of design, and students will create projects of texture, symmetry, positive and negative space, and printmaking. Digital photography will be introduced and used. Several entries will be submitted to the Mineral Area College Art Show in the spring.
