Have you ever been worried that you don't know enough about recycling? Have you ever wanted to know more about recycling? Here’s where you can begin! You will learn all about the different materials that you can recycle.
You will go to different websites to learn more about recycling, and after you look at some websites, you will have a task to do that reflects what you learned at that website.
Task 1: Test your knowledge!
Go look at these websites below. Then take the quiz and do the crossword puzzle after you are done.

Task 2: Design a flyer!
Research and find your local recycling facility. Include its address, telephone number, and any other facts.
Make a flyer persuading people to come and bring their recyclables! Try these search engines:

Task 3: Create a poster!
Please take a look at the following links, study them and collect information. Please take advantage of the links posted at the end of the PowerPoints. Once you have collected information, make a poster describing what you (and others) can do to stop throwing away Techno Waste. Use a standard 18” x 24” poster board and make good use of space. The poster must contain two text areas, 2-3 graphics, color, three things you can do to help, and a detailed explanation of the materials that are considered extremely deadly to the environment. Don't forget to check your spelling and grammar as you work.

Task 4: Write an essay!
In task 4, you will have to write a three paragraph essay (5 sentences per paragraph) over recycling paper, plastic, glass, and aluminum (recyclables). Try to be very descriptive and also be sure to include some of the awesome words you have learned from the quiz!!

Task 5: Create a PowerPoint Slideshow!
Please look at our websites reference spot and choose what you would like to do for a twenty (20) slide power point show, It must be something about plastic bottles, aluminum, paper, or technology. In this show, use clear crisp words, backgrounds, and pictures/animations.
PowerPoint Slideshow Guidelines:
Font sizes of either twelve or fourteen, your choice.
Font style Courier, Courier New, or Times New Roman
Font color whatever shows up well in your background
Any graphics that are added must be closely related to the subject.
Twenty (20) slides long
Must have transition timing on mouse click
