Preschool –  (Keown) Learning about the alphabet is keeping us VERY BUSY! Did you know that the alphabet letters never wear out? We can use them FOREVER! Check out our Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Tree downstairs and our giant letters on the wall. We had some excellent volunteer painters who painted all 26 letters. Way to go! Our Featured Friends for this week are Ava Eaton and Maya Irvin. Great job, girls! Friday is our 100th day of preschool for the AM class/Monday for the PM class. Remember to bring 100 some things to show and/or share. Next week we will talk about the letter O. (Kocher) We have regretfully taken down our snowmen!!! We will still pray for snow, but know that we must move on. The kids really enjoyed the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom book and project. They are definitely catching on to the alphabet and recognizing the letters that start with their friends name. Next week we will be on letter "O" and talk about Friends and Valentines. Remember Valentine parties are on the 13th at 10:00 and on the 14th at 10:00 and 2:00.
A list with your child's classmates names has been sent home with the February newsletter. Look at the sign up sheet on our classroom door for ideas you may donate for our Auction Basket/Booth (Dischbein). Chicka Chicka Boom Boom! Will there be enough room? We found out there was not enough room for all the letters in the alphabet on the coconut tree! We are continuing our adventure with our letters, and soaring through the alphabet with letter N this week. We are also enjoying our playtime outside...and wondering if it is really Winter. Don't forget get to check cubbies, important papers will be coming home this month. Kindergarten open house will be on February 7th, more info to come. Great Job Preschool!!!! Keep up the GREAT work:)
